Universiti Brunei Darussalam Scholarships 2027

Universiti Brunei Darussalam, established in 1985, welcomed 1,097 new students for the 2026/2027 session. Its fee schedule for the 2026/2027 intake lists international undergraduate programme fees from BND 16,500 for non-lab bachelor's degrees to BND 60,000 for Dentistry. Graduate applications for the February 2027 intake close on 20 September 2026, and applicants need IELTS 6.0.

The Brunei Darussalam Government Scholarship for Foreign Students, administered by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, supports international students at bachelor's and master's level at UBD and covers tuition and bursaries for accommodation, books, food and personal spending, with complementary medical treatment. The UBD Graduate Research Scholarship for PhD students waives tuition and pays a subsistence allowance of BND 2,200 a month for 36 months, with free campus accommodation; applicants must not be older than 30.
