UCLouvain Scholarships 2027 for International Students

UCLouvain, whose origins go back to the University of Louvain founded in 1425, is a French-speaking university with its main site in the pedestrian town of Louvain-la-Neuve and campuses in Brussels, Mons, Tournai and Charleroi. Most non-EU students pay EUR 5,369 a year in 2026-27, the EUR 1,194 full fee plus a EUR 4,175 supplementary contribution, and the application fee is EUR 200, deducted from tuition on admission.

UCLouvain does not grant scholarships to international bachelor's or master's students, and says so on its international FAQ. It points applicants to outside funders: the Commission for Development Cooperation of ARES, the Belgian Directorate-General for Development Cooperation, the Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie and the European Union's Erasmus Mundus master's scholarships. In the French-speaking Community, Wallonia-Brussels International also offers MASTER IN grants of EUR 10,020 a year, and holders are exempt from UCLouvain's supplementary contribution for non-EU students.
