| International tuition | SEK 90,000 to SEK 140,000 per year |
| Application fee | SEK 900 |
| Living cost in Sweden, per month | SEK 10,660 |
Stockholm University charges tuition only to students who are not citizens of the EU, the EEA or Switzerland, and sets it by subject area rather than by programme. Its own costs and fees page gives SEK 90,000 an academic year for study in the humanities, the social sciences and law, and SEK 140,000 an academic year in the sciences. Some programmes sit outside those two bands, so check the fee shown on the programme page before applying.
On top of that there is the national application fee of SEK 900, paid once per semester applied for, directly to University Admissions in Sweden rather than to the university.
