Sapienza University of Rome is Italy's largest public university by enrolment and one of Europe's oldest, founded in 1303. Tuition for bachelor's and master's programmes ranges from EUR 300 to EUR 1,500 a year depending on the student's declared country of residence and household income.
Sapienza offers its own study grants and fee reductions for international students with a low ISEE or equivalent foreign income declaration, and Lazio's regional right-to-study agency, LazioDisCo, runs the DSU scholarship that Sapienza students can also apply for.
