Reykjavík University Admission Requirements 2027

Reykjavík University has operated since 4 September 1998, when it began as the Reykjavík School of Business. For 2026-2027, undergraduate tuition is ISK 328,000 per semester for EU/EEA citizens and ISK 897,000 per semester for citizens of other countries, because the university receives no government funding for non-EEA students. Non-EU/EEA applicants start only in the autumn semester, apply by 31 January, pay a processing fee of ISK 16,000 and need IELTS Academic 6.5 or TOEFL iBT 91.

English test waiver

The English test requirement may be waived for applicants who have completed at least one full year of full-time higher education taught in English at an accredited institution in the UK, USA, Ireland, New Zealand, Australia or Canada. Applicants whose first language is English do not need to provide scores. The DAAD language certificate and Cambridge certificates at B2 are also accepted.
