Admission at a glance

International applicants to Paragon International University apply to bachelor's degree programmes by submitting an application together with a high school diploma or a letter confirming upcoming graduation, a passport or Cambodian national ID card, four 4x6 photos, and a completed application form (available online or, for a 10 US dollar fee, on paper at the campus front desk). A statement of purpose and a reference letter from a teacher or principal are also requested. Applicants may need to sit the university's own English Proficiency Test unless they already hold an IELTS score of 5.5, a TOEFL iBT score of 60, or a GEP Level 12 Certificate, in which case they are placed directly into their bachelor programme rather than the English Preparatory Programme or Foundation Year. Undergraduate applications are collected in three windows tied to a scholarship exam and two semester intakes, and completed forms and documents go to the Office of the Registrar on campus or by email to admission@paragoniu.edu.kh. Postgraduate applicants to Paragon's master's, doctoral and DBA programmes apply online through the university's application portal or at the campus front desk, submitting a bachelor's degree diploma (or, for doctoral study, a master's degree), a statement of purpose or research proposal of about 500 to 1,000 words, recommendation letters, and evidence of English proficiency: a TOEFL iBT score of at least 70 or an IELTS score of at least 6.0, or the Paragon.U English Proficiency Test for applicants without either. The Admission Committee reviews applications and issues an unconditional or conditional offer, with a conditional offer able to require passing the university's own English test before enrolment. International applicants who do not sit the Paragon.U Scholarship Exam can still receive a discount of up to 75 percent on tuition fees, though the annual registration fee is never included in any scholarship. Admitted international students arrange their own accommodation and visa costs, with the university assisting with the visa application process.
