Admission at a glance

AUPP roughly follows the American academic calendar, with a Fall semester from mid-August to late December, a Spring semester from mid-January to early May and two six-week summer terms, but it does not publish application deadlines for its intakes. All applicants pay a one-time, non-refundable application fee of USD 35. Bachelor's applicants take the free AUPP English Placement Test unless they present a TOEFL iBT score of 79, an IELTS score of 6.0, a Duolingo score of 110 or a Cambridge score of 169 from the last two years, and passport holders from the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand and Canada do not need the test; students below the required level join the English Preparatory Program. Tuition for the single degree programme is USD 3,000 a semester, based on five courses or 15 credits, and for the dual degree programme with the University of Arizona or Fort Hays State University USD 4,500 a semester. Master's courses cost USD 900 each for a single degree and USD 1,200 each for a dual degree. An administration fee of USD 150 applies to all students each term. AUPP's own merit and need-based scholarships are based on grades in Cambodia's National Exam.
