American University of Phnom Penh Admission Requirements 2027

The American University of Phnom Penh was established in 2013 as a Cambodian university and offers English-taught single and dual degrees with the University of Arizona and Fort Hays State University. Its single degree bachelor's programme costs USD 3,000 a semester (USD 6,000 a year) and its dual degree USD 4,500 a semester (USD 9,000 a year). The application fee is USD 35, and applicants need TOEFL iBT 79, IELTS 6.0 or Duolingo 110, or AUPP's placement test.

English test waiver

AUPP teaches in English. Bachelor's applicants take the free AUPP English Placement Test, or have it waived with a TOEFL iBT score of at least 79, an IELTS overall score of 6.0, a Duolingo score of 110 or higher, or a Cambridge B2 First or C1 Advanced score of 169 or higher, each earned within two years of applying. Holders of passports from the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand or Canada are not required to take the placement test. Students below the required level join the English Preparatory Program.
