National Tsing Hua University Scholarships 2027

National Tsing Hua University was established in Beijing in 1911 as Tsing Hua Academy and re-established in Hsinchu, Taiwan, in 1956. International undergraduates pay TWD 46,100 to TWD 53,200 per semester in tuition and graduate students TWD 26,300 to TWD 36,300, and applications for Spring 2027 close on 30 September 2026. The application fee is TWD 2,000 for up to two programmes, and applicants with nationality of a Least Developed Country apply free.

The NTHU International Student Scholarship pays doctoral students NTD 20,000 to 40,000 a month (NTD 10,000 in some humanities and social sciences PhD programmes) and master's and bachelor's students NTD 5,000 a month, and waives tuition and credit fees. Applicants apply through the same online admission system.
