Ghent University Tuition Fees 2027 for International Students

Ghent charges non-EEA master's students one of two rates, set by the faculty, for 2026-27. Tuition Fee A is EUR 2,297.40 for 60 credits, a fixed EUR 305.40 plus EUR 17.70 a credit plus a higher fee of EUR 15.50 a credit, and applies in the faculties of Arts and Philosophy, Law and Criminology, and Psychology and Educational Sciences. Tuition Fee B is EUR 7,079.40, a fixed EUR 305.40 plus EUR 31 a credit plus EUR 81.90 a credit, and applies in Sciences, Medicine and Health Sciences, Engineering and Architecture, Economics and Business Administration, Veterinary Medicine, Bioscience Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences and Political and Social Sciences. EEA students, and non-EEA students with an electronic residence permit, VLIR-UOS scholarship holders and students from the lowest two categories of the OECD DAC list of developing countries, pay EUR 1,181.40. The Faculty of Political and Social Sciences waives the higher fee for students from 38 listed countries, including India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Nigeria and the Philippines, bringing it to EUR 2,165.40. Some programmes are priced separately: Research Master of Arts in Philosophy EUR 4,397.40; Sustainable Land Management, Photonics Engineering and Biomedical Engineering EUR 5,321.40; Geology EUR 9,492.70; the advanced Master of Science in Maritime Science EUR 11,951.40; and Sustainable Mobility Analytics EUR 16,000 for non-EEA students. There is no application fee.
