Admission at a glance

Erasmus University Rotterdam (EUR) teaches bachelor's and master's programmes through faculties including the Erasmus School of Economics, Rotterdam School of Management (RSM), Erasmus School of Law, Erasmus School of History, Culture and Communication, and Erasmus MC. International bachelor's applicants register in Studielink and then submit a full application through the EUR Admissions Portal; Studielink registration alone does not complete an application. All applicants with a non-Dutch diploma pay a non-refundable EUR 100 application fee before their file is assessed.

English requirements are set per programme rather than as one EUR-wide figure; a common floor is IELTS Academic 6.0 overall or TOEFL iBT 80, though some programmes and faculties ask for up to IELTS 7.0 or TOEFL iBT 100. Only test-centre results are accepted, and certificates cannot be more than two years old at application.

Non-EEA institutional tuition for 2026-2027 runs from about EUR 13,500 a year in most faculties to EUR 32,200 a year at Erasmus MC; Erasmus University College charges EUR 16,300 and RSM charges EUR 14,000 at bachelor's level. Numerus fixus bachelor's programmes, including International Bachelor Economics and Business Economics with 700 places for 2026-2027, close 15 January; non-EEA applicants to other bachelor's programmes must submit a complete application by 1 April, against 1 May for EEA applicants.

Requirements

Bachelor

A secondary qualification recognised as giving access to university-level study, meeting the chosen programme's own subject prerequisites. English-taught programmes require at least IELTS Academic 6.0 or TOEFL iBT 80, with several faculties setting a higher floor; numerus fixus programmes add a selection procedure alongside academic requirements.

Master

A relevant bachelor's degree meeting the specific master's or pre-master's programme's own grade and subject requirements.
