CUET's own website, cuet.ac.bd, confirms the university offers undergraduate programmes in engineering, Bachelor of Urban and Regional Planning (BURP) and Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch), and states plainly that, as of the verification date, no admission test is currently scheduled for these programmes, with a note that all official admission announcements are published exclusively through CUET's own website and other authorised channels. This confirms the 2026-27 cycle had not yet opened when this research was carried out. CUET has historically coordinated undergraduate engineering admission with the two other regional engineering universities, Khulna University of Engineering & Technology (KUET) and Rajshahi University of Engineering & Technology (RUET), under a combined system sometimes referred to as CKRUET, run through a shared portal.
A fetch of cuet.ac.bd from a server inside Bangladesh on 2026-09-07 reloaded the same page and reconfirms that statement word for word, alongside the university's own founding history: it began as Engineering College, Chittagong in 1986, sits on about 171 acres 25km from Chittagong city along the Chittagong-Cox's Bazar road, and lists a dedicated "Admission of Foreign Students" page under its Admissions navigation, though that page's own content was not part of this fetch. admissioncuet.ac.bd, the separate application portal named in earlier search results, was not reached in this pass either, so no application dates, fees or eligibility GPA are confirmed beyond the statement that no test is currently scheduled.

Requirements
Bachelor, session 2025-2026
CUET ran its own admission test for 2025-2026. Applicants had to be Bangladeshi citizens who passed SSC or an equivalent in 2022 or 2023 with at least GPA 4.00, and HSC, Alim or an equivalent in 2025 with a combined GPA of at least 14.00 in mathematics, physics and chemistry and at least grade B in English. Biomedical Engineering applicants also need GPA 4.00 in biology.
Group A (engineering and Urban and Regional Planning) sits a 500-mark multiple choice test; Group B adds Architecture and a 200-mark freehand drawing test. A quarter of a question's marks is deducted for each wrong answer. The circular lists 920 seats across 12 departments, plus 11 reserved seats.
The application fee was BDT 1,200 for Group A and BDT 1,400 for Group B, excluding the gateway charge. Online applications ran from 15 to 31 December 2025.
