| International tuition | €40 to €30,620 per year |
| Application fee | €285 |
Charles charges nothing for studies in Czech. A tuition fee appears only when a student exceeds the standard duration of their degree by more than one year: the university's own example is General Medicine, where six years is standard, seven are free, and a charge begins on entering the eighth. Degrees taught in English, German, French or Russian are charged, and Charles summarises the whole range as EUR 40 to EUR 30,620 a year depending on the programme, with the exact figure listed in its catalogue of study programmes. The First Faculty of Medicine sits near the top of that range: for the 2026/2027 academic year both General Medicine and Dentistry in English cost EUR 24,250 a year. On top of tuition there is a non-refundable application fee of EUR 285 per application, and an applicant who has not paid it is not allowed to sit the entrance examination. Because each faculty takes its own application, an applicant trying two Charles faculties pays the fee twice.
