The First Faculty of Medicine had not published its 2027/2028 dates when this was checked on 12 September 2026. The 2026/2027 cycle is the pattern and it is a long one: applications opened on 1 December 2025 and closed on 5 September 2026, with the written entrance test in Prague on 16 September 2026 and an additional term on 23 September. Both General Medicine and Dentistry ran on the same dates. Two things inside that window matter more than the closing date: the application for bonus points closes fourteen days before round one, and the Dean sets the round two qualifying threshold by mid-February. Other Charles faculties run their own calendars.
