English test waiver

The First Faculty of Medicine sets no separate English language certificate for its English-taught General Medicine and Dentistry degrees. The entire two-round entrance examination is held in English, and that is the language test: an applicant who cannot follow a knowledge paper and an online second round in English will not pass them. The university recommends its Institute for Language and Preparatory Studies to applicants who need to build language and subject knowledge before the admissions procedure, and that institute's courses are aimed at both the examination and at living and studying in a different country. Other Charles faculties set their own requirements, so an applicant outside the medical faculties should read the faculty's own admission criteria rather than assume this one applies.
