The Budapest University of Technology and Economics, founded in 1782, is Hungary's leading technical university and teaches more than 50 degree programmes in English in engineering, sciences, economics and management. Most bachelor's and master's programmes cost EUR 2,200 to EUR 4,000 a semester for non-EU students, applications run from 1 April to 15 May, and IELTS 5.0 meets the general bar.
