AUBG offers AUBG-funded merit scholarships of up to 40% off tuition, based on academic credentials, as well as a small number of full-tuition AUBG Distinguished Scholarships awarded to outstanding applicants each cycle (nine full-tuition awards were listed for Fall 2026). A range of donor-funded scholarships are also available, split into merit-based awards (no financial documents required) and need-based awards (financial documents required), each with its own eligibility rules, and applicants apply for these within the same AUBG application form. Individual donor scholarships mentioned on the site include awards such as the Victoria Pavlova-Entwistle Endowed Scholarship (four EUR 2,300 awards) and the Georgi Sava Rakovski Endowed Scholarship (two EUR 3,500 awards for international students with a high school GPA of at least 3.0 and financial need). Separate deadlines apply to some donor scholarships (for example, January 15 for merit-based and January 31 for need-based donor scholarships in the cycle reviewed).
