Bachelor's and master's programs
- Search programs on universityadmissions.se and check each program's specific entry requirements on the university's own pages.
- Create an account on universityadmissions.se and add program choices, ranked in order of preference.
- Submit the application before the international round deadline, 15 January for autumn entry, and pay the SEK 900 application fee if you are not an EU/EEA/Swiss citizen.
- Upload supporting documents, including secondary school or degree transcripts, certificates and proof of English proficiency, by 1 February.
- Check the selection results when they are published, usually in the first half of April.
- Accept your offer on the portal by the stated deadline.
- If you are a fee paying student, pay the first tuition installment to your university, then apply for a residence permit for studies through Migrationsverket.
Doctoral studies
Doctoral positions in Sweden are funded, employed positions, not application rounds through universityadmissions.se. Each university advertises open PhD positions individually on its own vacancies page, and candidates apply directly to that university with a CV, degree certificates and often a research proposal.
