Admission at a glance
International applicants apply to Yerevan State Medical University through the online platform fs.emis.am, registering and submitting the required personal, educational and family information along with supporting documents. For the 2026-2027 academic year, applications from foreign citizens are accepted from 22 June to 30 September 2026. Applicants whose applications are approved by that date sit entrance examinations at the University on 1 and 2 October 2026, passing two of three subject exams of their choice (Physics, Chemistry, Biology), and the schedule also lists an English exam; the pass mark is 26 correct answers out of 50 in a 60 minute test. Teaching is conducted in Armenian, Russian or English, and applicants who do not pass the entrance examinations can instead enrol in the Department of Foreign Students' Preparatory Education, a 32 week programme that also places students by English level using an internal test. English-medium study is offered in General Medicine (6 years), Stomatology (5 years) and Pharmacy, at Bachelor's (4 years) and Master's (1 year) level. Required documents include a passport photocopy, a notarised or apostilled translation of the secondary school graduation certificate, a medical certificate or insurance record, a CV and a passport photo. Applicants must arrange their own medical insurance for each academic year of study, and accommodation is available in University hostels.

Requirements
Bachelor / Integrated programmes
Applicants must have completed secondary or secondary professional education. Entry to the first year requires passing two of three entrance test exams, chosen by the applicant: Physics, Chemistry or Biology, each based on the secondary school exam programme. The test is 60 minutes long with 50 questions; the pass mark is 26 correct answers. This applies to applicants to General Medicine, Stomatology and the Pharmacy Bachelor's degree. Indian applicants must additionally hold NEET qualification, and Sri Lankan applicants must sit all three subject exams (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) rather than two.
Master
The one-year Pharmacy Master's degree is listed in the same foreign-citizen tuition schedule as the Bachelor's programmes and follows the same application route through fs.emis.am. YSMU's foreign-citizen admission page does not set out separate entrance-exam subjects for this programme beyond the general foreign-citizen admission procedure.
