Admission at a glance

AUA's undergraduate application for Fall 2027 opens online on 1 November 2026. The published Fall 2027 deadlines are 15 January for early admission, 30 April for regular admission and 1 June for rolling admission, which is not available for every programme; graduate deadlines are 15 January (early), 31 March (regular) and 1 June (rolling), and graduate applications for Spring 2027 close on 20 November. AUA notes that full Fall 2027 information will be available from mid-September 2026. Both levels charge a non-refundable application fee of AMD 20,000. Undergraduate applicants are automatically denied below TOEFL iBT 76 or IELTS 6.0, and graduate applicants are assessed against target scores of TOEFL iBT 79 or IELTS 6.5. International students' admission becomes official only after approval by Armenia's education ministry through its online platform, and enrolment is cancelled if approval is not received. International Scholarships can cover up to 50% of international tuition; every International Scholarship applicant in the Fall 2026 freshman class received an award, averaging 45%. Before aid, international undergraduates pay AMD 4,450,000 a year for most programmes and AMD 4,950,000 for business and economics.
