Xiamen University Malaysia Tuition Fees 2027

Xiamen University Malaysia is the Malaysian branch campus of China's Xiamen University, based in Sepang, Selangor. Its 2026 official fee schedule shows undergraduate tuition running RM 27,000 to RM 32,000 a year depending on school, with a flat RM 318 application and registration fee and a separate RM 2,650 a year International Student Fee that covers EMGS and insurance costs.

XMUM's official 2026 international fee schedule (published November 2025) lists undergraduate tuition per year by school: RM 27,000 for Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature, RM 28,000 to RM 32,000 across Mathematics, Physics, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, New Energy Science, Chemical Engineering, Marine Biotechnology and Marine Environmental Chemistry, and RM 29,000 to RM 30,000 across the Economics and Management, Communication and Chinese Studies schools; Foundation programmes run RM 18,000 to RM 20,000 a year. On top of tuition, XMUM charges a non-refundable RM 318 Application and Registration Fee, a non-refundable RM 100 Hostel Application Fee, and a non-refundable RM 2,650 a year International Student Fee (covering the admin fee, EMGS fee, visa application and renewal, and insurance); the combined amount due on application is RM 3,068, inclusive of 6 percent SST. A refundable RM 500 hostel deposit and RM 1,000 security deposit also apply.
