Victor Babes University of Medicine and Pharmacy is a public medical university in Timisoara, in the Banat region of Romania, whose Faculty of Medicine was established in 1945. It admits non-EU ("third country", Type III) applicants to Medicine and Dental Medicine taught in English, and Pharmacy taught in English or French, through its own international admission competition, run in July and September sessions each year, each followed by a further waitlist-confirmation stage for vacated seats.

For Type III (non-EU) candidates in the 2026-2027 academic year, tuition is 9,000 EUR per year for Medicine (Romanian, English or French) and for Dental Medicine (Romanian or English), and 8,000 EUR per year for Pharmacy (English or French); Nursing-related programmes are 4,000 EUR per year. Separately, applicants pay a non-refundable file-processing fee of 200 EUR, a 150 EUR fee for the university's own language test where it applies, a 300 EUR per-option, non-refundable seat-confirmation fee once admitted, and a 100 RON enrolment fee paid in cash at the university cashier when finally registering. Admitted candidates must also pay a 50% tuition deposit alongside the confirmation fee, within the confirmation window set by the admission calendar.
