Non-EU applicants living abroad no longer use the ISEE Parificato to set their tuition from the 2026/27 academic year. Instead the university assigns a flat annual band of EUR 300, 500, 700 or 1,000 based on the GDP per capita at purchasing power parity of the applicant's country of citizenship, published annually by the IMF. This amount is on top of a fixed first instalment of EUR 156, covering the EUR 140 regional tax for the right to university study and EUR 16 stamp duty, which every student pays regardless of income. The ISEE Parificato, obtained through a CAF working with EDISU Piemonte, can still be requested for other right-to-study benefits such as housing and transport subsidies, but from 2026/27 it no longer changes the tuition band.
