University of Turin Admission Requirements 2027

The University of Turin is a large public university offering programmes across science, humanities, law, medicine and social science. From the 2026/27 academic year it stopped using the ISEE Parificato to set fees for non-EU applicants living abroad and instead bills a flat annual amount of EUR 300 to 1,000 based on the GDP per capita at purchasing power parity of the applicant's country, on top of a fixed EUR 156 first instalment.

Requirements

Bachelor

A secondary school qualification giving access to university study in the country where it was issued, recognised as equivalent by the university.

Master

A bachelor's degree or equivalent first-cycle qualification relevant to the chosen programme. English-taught programmes require a B2-level English certificate, typically IELTS 6.0 or TOEFL iBT 80, though the exact minimum is set by each programme.

Documents

Passport, academic transcripts and qualification certificates, a Declaration of Value or equivalent comparability statement, a passport photo, and an English or Italian language certificate depending on the language of instruction. Non-EU applicants living abroad who want a fee reduction through the GDP per capita band do not need to submit an ISEE; those who want the ISEE Parificato route for other benefits apply through a CAF linked to EDISU Piemonte.

How to apply

Register on the Apply@UniTo portal and submit the application for the chosen programme with transcripts, qualification certificate and language certificate.
Receive the university's eligibility outcome.
If a study visa is required, complete pre-enrolment on the Universitaly portal by the published deadline (15 July 2026 for 2026/27) and upload the same documents.
Take the application to the Italian embassy or consulate for visa processing.
Enrol at UniTo and pay the first instalment.
