University of Stavanger Application Deadlines 2027

The University of Stavanger, on Norway's south-west coast and close to its energy industry, cut its tuition for students from outside the EU and EEA from August 2026. Master's programmes now cost NOK 60,000 or NOK 85,000 for 60 ECTS, cheaper than most Norwegian universities, and the application window for non-EU applicants is 15 November to 1 December.

UiS publishes this as its standing non-EU and non-EEA window: applications open 15 November and close 1 December, earlier than the 1 December-only deadline used elsewhere in Norway because the window itself is just over two weeks long. EU, EEA and Swiss applicants use 1 February to 1 March instead, and applicants already in Norway count as local with different dates. Documents and the English test must be in by the deadline.
