University of Primorska Tuition Fees 2026

For the 2026/2027 academic year, undergraduate bachelor's tuition for non-EU international students ranges from 2,500 euro to 3,850 euro per academic year depending on the faculty and programme, for example 2,500 euro per year for Nutritional Counselling and Dietetics and 3,850 euro per year for Physiotherapy, both at the Faculty of Health Sciences. Master's degree tuition for the same academic year ranges from 2,998 euro to 4,400 euro per academic year, for example 2,998 euro per year for Primary School Teaching at the Faculty of Education and 4,400 euro per year for Management of Sustainable Development at the Faculty of Management. Doctoral (PhD) tuition for 2026/2027 ranges from 1,000 euro to 5,800 euro per academic year and generally decreases in later years of the programme; several Faculty of Mathematics, Natural Sciences and Information Technologies doctoral programmes taught in English, such as Computer Science and Mathematical Sciences, charge 5,800 euro per year. Tuition applies to non-EU citizens without a bilateral exemption; citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Kosovo, Serbia and North Macedonia are exempt from tuition under bilateral agreements, as are EU citizens and several other listed categories. On top of tuition, every enrolled student pays enrolment contributions set for 2026/2027: 17.40 euro for information system services, 8.00 euro for the annual university library membership, and a student extra-curricular activities contribution capped at 15.00 euro. Non-EU applicants from a country classed as higher migration risk must separately pay a non-refundable 200 euro interview fee within five days of applying, to cover the cost of the mandatory admission interview; this is not a general application fee and does not apply to all non-EU applicants.
