Requirements
Bachelor
A secondary school qualification recognised as giving access to university study, normally twelve years of schooling. Programmes taught in English ask for a B2-level certificate; programmes taught in Italian ask for B2 Italian.
Master
A bachelor's degree in a field relevant to the chosen programme. English-taught programmes ask for a B2-level English certificate unless the applicant's previous degree was taught entirely in English.
Documents
Passport, secondary school diploma or bachelor's degree certificate and transcript, a recognition or comparability statement for the foreign qualification, an English or Italian language certificate, a passport photo, and the Universitaly pre-enrolment summary for applicants who need a study visa.
How to apply
- Choose a programme and apply online through apply.unipd.it before its published window closes.
- Upload the required documents and any language certificate.
- If admitted and a visa is needed, complete Universitaly pre-enrolment and apply for the study visa.
- Enrol online and pay the first instalment.
- Travel to Italy in time for courses starting at the end of September or beginning of October, and register for the residence permit within eight days of arrival.
English test waiver
These B2-level minimums apply to all English-taught bachelor's and master's programmes at Padua, except the Master's curriculum in English Studies, which asks for C1 level and does not require a certificate.
