University of Nova Gorica Tuition Fees 2027

For the 2026/2027 academic year, UNG's own tuition table sets a single fee per programme for 'part-time studies and foreign citizens' (the column that applies to most non-EU international students), rather than a range within each programme. Bachelor's programmes range from 2,800 euro per year (Engineering and Management, Language and literature in the digital world, Cultural History) to 3,500 euro per year (Digital Arts and Practices), with Environment, Physics and Astrophysics, and Viticulture and Enology at 3,000 euro per year. Master's programmes range from 2,800 euro per year (Humanities Studies) to 6,000 euro per year (the joint international degree Economics and Techniques for the Conservation of the Architectural and Environmental Heritage, a one-year programme), with most other master's programmes (Environment, Physics and Astrophysics, Material Science, Viticulture and Enology) at 3,000 euro per year, Media Arts and Practices at 3,500 euro per year, and Leadership in Open Education at 5,000 euro per year for all students regardless of citizenship. Doctoral study is 4,000 euro per year across all programmes for students who are charged tuition. On top of tuition, every enrolled student pays a 15 euro per year fee for e-services and annual library membership, due on enrolment. Citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Kosovo, North Macedonia and Serbia do not pay tuition in UNG's concessionary bachelor's and master's programmes (marked in UNG's table), under Slovenia's bilateral education agreements with those countries, and citizens of Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein and Switzerland are treated the same as EU citizens. There is no separate general application fee; the only admission-linked charge found is a 30 euro fee for candidates from a country the EU classifies as higher migration risk, to cover the cost of their mandatory admission interview, and this is charged per programme applied to, not once per applicant.
