Admission at a glance

The University of Nicosia admits students for three sessions a year and publishes indicative rather than fixed deadlines: late June for the fall semester starting in September, late October for the spring semester starting in February, and late February for the summer session. Exact dates are not published, so applicants should apply well before those points, particularly if they need an entry permit, which the university arranges. Individual programmes run their own calls: for September 2026, the master's in Clinical Psychology closed on 20 March and Counseling Psychology on 5 June. The application fee is EUR 60 and is not refunded. Non-EU students also pay a EUR 150 visa application fee and a refundable EUR 400 international student guarantee, must pay at least the first semester's tuition and fees in advance, and lose EUR 500 on refund if the visa is approved and they decide not to register. Some programmes, including English-taught Pharmacy, Global Health and Clinical Psychology, require a EUR 500 seat reservation deposit, and the Medical School asks for a EUR 3,500 seat deposit and a EUR 1,500 administrative fee, both deducted from first-semester tuition. English is required at IELTS 6.0 or TOEFL iBT 72 for undergraduate study and IELTS 6.5 or TOEFL iBT 79 for postgraduate study.
