University of Mauritius Admission 2027 for International Students

The University of Mauritius admits international students each August. For the August 2026 intake, undergraduate and postgraduate applications with proof of payment of the non-refundable USD 50 application fee had to be submitted online by Friday 10 April 2026, and semester 1 of 2026/2027 started on 3 August 2026. Dates for the August 2027 intake have not yet been published. Undergraduate applicants need a pass in English Language at O Level or equivalent, or evidence of proficiency such as TOEFL or IELTS. International undergraduate block fees for 2026/2027 are USD 6,000 a year for science and technology and USD 5,000 for other programmes, while the Doctor of Medicine costs USD 6,000 a year in part 1 and USD 8,000 in part 2. International undergraduates who come from mainland Africa, including SADC and COMESA countries, or from Asian developing countries such as India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Nepal, China and Indonesia, or who apply through an approved recruitment agent, receive a scholarship covering 50% of the block fee, except for Medicine, the Foundation programme and the Data Science dual degree.
