University of Malta Scholarships 2027 for International Students

The University of Malta, on its main campus at Msida, had 12,701 students in 2025-26 and requires English proficiency for its courses. Non-EU students pay EUR 10,800 for the MA in Cultural Heritage Management and EUR 13,400 for the MSc in Artificial Intelligence in 2026-27, and EUR 26,000 a year for Medicine. The application fee is EUR 100, and non-EU applicants who need a visa must apply by 1 July for October entry.

The University of Malta's scholarships for international students are few and targeted, funded with the Government of Malta. Palestinian nationals can apply for scholarships covering tuition and a EUR 1,300 monthly subsistence allowance on the MSc in Artificial Intelligence or the MA in Cultural Heritage Management, with a 2026 deadline of 5 June. One scholarship of the same kind is offered to a Tunisian national, with a 10 June 2026 deadline, and three scholarships at master's level for 2026-27 go to nationals of small island developing states, covering tuition and a EUR 1,000 research grant for a course followed online. Research units at the university also advertise funded places from time to time.
