University of Erlangen-Nuremberg Application Deadlines 2027

Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg (FAU) is one of Germany's largest public universities, strong in engineering, natural sciences and medicine. As of summer semester 2027 it becomes the second Bavarian university to charge non-EU students tuition, from EUR 1,000 to EUR 6,000 a semester depending on the programme, alongside a new EUR 100 non-EU application processing fee.

FAU's published application periods for most master's programmes for summer semester 2027 run from 15 September 2026 or 15 October 2026 (depending on programme) to 15 January 2027. Programmes are activated on the campo.fau.de application portal at 10:00 CE(S)T on each programme's own start date. A EUR 100 non-EU application processing fee applies per application from winter semester 2026/27 onward.
