University of Copenhagen Tuition Fees 2027

The University of Copenhagen is Denmark's largest and oldest university, teaching most bachelor's programmes in Danish and most master's programmes in English. Non-EU, non-EEA and non-Swiss applicants apply to master's programmes directly through the university by 15 January for a September start and pay a DKK 1,120 application deposit.

Citizens of the EU, the EEA and Switzerland pay no tuition. Non-EU/EEA/Swiss master's students pay tuition calculated per programme through the university's own online fee tool and billed each semester (30 ECTS at a time) for four semesters; the university's general tuition page does not publish one minimum and maximum figure for all programmes, so no confirmed range is recorded here. For comparison, short term guest students from outside the EU/EEA/Switzerland who are not seeking a full degree pay a stated DKK 27,500 to 62,500 a semester depending on faculty. All non-EU/EEA/Swiss master's applicants also pay a DKK 1,120 (about EUR 150) application deposit.
