Requirements
Bachelor
Most bachelor's programmes are taught in Danish and require Danish language qualifications; a small number of programmes accept English taught upper secondary qualifications instead. Applicants apply through the national optagelse.dk portal rather than directly to the university. Check each programme's own page for its specific subject prerequisites.
Master
A relevant bachelor's degree, normally at least 180 ECTS credits, that gives access to the specific master's programme; exact academic prerequisites are set by each programme. English proficiency at English B level: IELTS Academic 6.5 overall (at least 6 per section) or TOEFL iBT 83 (at least 20 per section); some programmes require the higher English A level, IELTS 7.0 or TOEFL iBT 100.
Documents
Passport copy, transcripts and degree or upper secondary certificates, proof of English (and, for Danish taught programmes, Danish) proficiency, and, for non-EU/EEA/Swiss master's applicants, proof of payment of the DKK 1,120 application deposit. Some programmes ask for a CV, a motivation letter or a portfolio; check the individual programme page. All documents are uploaded to the university's own application portal for master's programmes, or to optagelse.dk for bachelor's programmes.
