Coimbra's current table for international students enrolling for the first time in a full bachelor's or integrated master's degree gives annual tuition from EUR 3,000, and EUR 18,000 a year for the Integrated Master's in Medicine. The Zero Year in Portuguese Language is EUR 7,000 and the Zero Year in specific subjects in the sciences or humanities EUR 5,000. One-off charges are an application fee of EUR 50, an enrolment fee of EUR 20, EUR 45 for the physical and sports aptitude prerequisite and EUR 40 for the medical examination where a course requires them. A full-time annual fee can be spread over twelve instalments. ⚠️ Coimbra's older 2025/26 payment-plan page is built on EUR 7,000 a year for every course; the newer fee table, issued alongside the 2026 amendment to its admission regulations, gives tuition from EUR 3,000, and this record follows the newer one. The university also awards partial tuition exemptions on merit to the best international students in each faculty within a quota, from the first year onward.
