University of Bristol Admission 2027: Deadlines, Requirements, Fees for International Students

Admission at a glance

Bristol takes undergraduate applications through UCAS on the standard national calendar: 15 October 2026, 18:00 UK time, for medicine and dentistry, and 13 January 2027, 18:00 UK time, for equal consideration on every other course. English language ability is set through six named profiles (A to F), each course stating which one it uses; Profile C, a mid level profile confirmed directly on Bristol's own page, sets IELTS 6.5 overall with 6.5 in every skill, TOEFL iBT 88 (a rescaled 4.5 overall applies for tests taken from 21 January 2026 onwards), or PTE Academic 67 overall with no element below 67, with test results valid for two years from the course start date.

Bristol's overseas (international) tuition fee for 2026-27 entry is confirmed directly from the university's own fee table and runs from GBP 25,500 a year for arts, languages and humanities courses such as French and Philosophy, through GBP 28,200 for humanities with a strong writing and analysis focus such as English and History, GBP 31,300 for most science, engineering and health programmes, GBP 33,400 for laboratory intensive sciences such as Biochemistry, Psychology and Computer Science, GBP 41,900 for Veterinary Science, up to GBP 45,800 for Medicine (MBChB) and GBP 49,700, the highest confirmed figure, for Dental Surgery (BDS).

Requirements

Bachelor's degree

A-levels, the International Baccalaureate or another equivalent qualification at the level the specific course states, and English language ability at the profile (A to F) the course specifies; Profile C is IELTS 6.5 overall with 6.5 in every skill.
