University of Bath Admission 2027: Deadlines, Requirements, Fees for International Students

Bath takes undergraduate applications through UCAS on the national calendar: 18:00 UK time on 13 January 2027 is the equal consideration deadline for 2027 entry, and medicine, dentistry and veterinary medicine or science courses across the UK follow an earlier 15 October 2026 deadline instead. Bath does not run undergraduate medicine or dentistry itself. English language ability is grouped into categories A to D; both Category A and Category B, the two checked directly for this record, ask for IELTS 7.0 overall with 6.5 in each component, or the equivalent TOEFL iBT 100, PTE Academic 69, or Duolingo 130, a higher bar than at many comparable universities.

Overseas undergraduate tuition for students starting in 2026 is banded by subject: GBP 25,400 a year for Band 1 (Humanities and Social Sciences), GBP 28,650 for Band 2 (Economics and Management), and GBP 32,000 for Band 3 (Science, Engineering, Health and Psychology). Bath states fees can rise by up to 8 percent in each year of a course, in line with a published formula rather than a fixed percentage.

Taught postgraduate admissions follow an annual timeline rather than a single deadline that repeats unchanged each year: for courses starting in September 2026, Bath asked international applicants requiring a visa to apply by 31 July 2026 and UK applicants by 31 August 2026. Requirements

Bachelor's degree

A-levels, the International Baccalaureate or another equivalent qualification at the level the specific course states, plus English language ability at Category A or B level, IELTS 7.0 overall with 6.5 in each component, unless the course states a different category.

Master's degree

A relevant bachelor's degree, normally at 2:1 level or its overseas equivalent, plus the English language category the specific programme states. Bath publishes its postgraduate application timeline for each entry year separately rather than using one fixed recurring date.
