Citizens of the EU, the EEA and Switzerland, and non-EU/EEA/Swiss applicants with a qualifying Danish residence permit, pay no tuition at Roskilde University. Other non-EU/EEA/Swiss students entering from September 2026 pay tuition set by programme and billed per semester, from about EUR 5,000 to EUR 8,000 a semester (EUR 10,000 to EUR 16,000 a year) depending on the programme; earlier admitted cohorts pay lower, previously set rates. Non-EU/EEA/Swiss applicants also pay a EUR 200 (about DKK 1,490) application fee, due by 15 March.
