Requirements
Bachelor
A foreign qualifying exam assessed for equivalence to Danish upper secondary level, plus any programme specific prerequisites. Proof of English proficiency for English taught programmes.
Master
A relevant bachelor's degree meeting the specific programme's academic prerequisites, published on RUC's master's programme pages. English proficiency: an IELTS Academic score of 6.5, or the equivalent older scale TOEFL score; test results must be less than two years old.
Documents
Passport copy, secondary school or degree transcripts and certificates, proof of English proficiency, and, for non-EU/EEA/Swiss applicants, proof of the EUR 200 application fee payment and, where relevant, documentation of a Danish residence permit.
How to apply
- Check the entry requirements and language of instruction for the chosen programme on Roskilde University's own pages.
- Apply through optagelse.dk for a bachelor's programme, or directly through Roskilde University for a master's programme.
- Non-EU/EEA/Swiss applicants pay the EUR 200 application fee and submit documents by 15 March (bachelor's) or 15 January if a fee paying master's applicant.
- EU/EEA/Swiss applicants, and non-EU/EEA/Swiss master's applicants exempt from tuition, submit master's documents by 1 March.
- Receive the admission decision.
- Accept the offer, pay tuition if required, and apply for a Danish residence permit for study through SIRI.
