Qatar University Admission 2027: Deadlines, Fees, Requirements

Qatar University in Doha, founded in 1977, admits international students. Non-Qatari undergraduates admitted from Fall 2026 pay QAR 1,200 to QAR 1,600 per credit hour depending on the college, and master's students QAR 2,200. International undergraduates applied from 1 to 25 March 2026 for Fall 2026, and top applicants can receive an International Students Scholarship with free tuition, housing, flights and a QAR 500 monthly allowance.

Admission at a glance

Qatar University admits self-funded international students to undergraduate programmes and to its Arabic for Non-Native Speakers programme, and they apply online for admission and a student visa at the same time under the university's sponsorship. For Fall 2026 the international window opened on 1 March 2026 and the online admission application closed on 25 March 2026, with student visa documents due by 26 March and admission documents by 2 April; the university's international students page gives 19 May 2026 for admission decisions. Scholarship applicants, undergraduate only, had the same 25 March deadline. The undergraduate application fee is QAR 200, paid online and non-refundable. Graduate applications for Fall 2026 ran from 1 December 2025 to 25 February 2026, with a QAR 350 fee and final documents by 25 May 2026, and the Fall 2027 dates are to be announced. Non-Qatari applicants must meet each college's English and mathematics minimums; for Health Sciences, Nursing and Pharmacy that means IELTS 5.5 or TOEFL iBT 61, and for Medicine and Dental Medicine IELTS 6 or TOEFL iBT 68. The Spring 2027 and Fall 2027 international windows had not been published when this page was checked.
