Admission at a glance

International students interested in a Master's degree at Prince Sultan University in Riyadh apply through the university's Graduate Studies Unit for one of five programs: Master of Business Administration, Master in Software Engineering, Master of Science in Cybersecurity, Master of Commercial Law, or Master of Engineering Management. Applications are submitted online through the PSU application portal before the deadline of the round chosen. For the 2026/2027 cycle there were two application rounds, the first running from March 1 to April 30, 2026 with decisions released May 14, 2026, and the second running from May 15 to July 16, 2026 with decisions released July 30, 2026; applications are due by 5:00 pm Riyadh time on the deadline day. Applicants need a four-year bachelor's degree completed as a full-time student (online or part-time degrees are not accepted), in a field matching the target program, with a cumulative GPA of at least 2.75 out of 4.00, described by PSU as Very Good. Because English is the language of instruction, applicants whose bachelor's degree was not earned in an English-speaking country must submit an official TOEFL-iBT score of at least 70 (or 520 on the paper-based TOEFL) or an IELTS score of at least 6.0, taken at an official test center within the last two years; online English tests are not accepted for this graduate requirement. A one-page resume, two letters of recommendation, and, for the Commercial Law program, a statement of purpose are also required, and shortlisted applicants may be invited to an interview. The non-refundable application fee is SAR 500, with an additional 15 percent VAT charged to international applicants. Tuition is SAR 5,000 per credit hour, also subject to 15 percent VAT for non-Saudi students, across programs that require 30 to 36 credit hours to complete. Accepted students pay a non-refundable SAR 3,000 pre-registration fee, credited toward tuition, to reserve a seat.

Requirements

Bachelor

PSU's standard undergraduate route (Undergraduate Admission: High School Graduates, leading into the Preparatory Year Program) states as a general admission requirement: "The applicant must be a Saudi or GCC national or a legal resident of Saudi Arabia." Because of this stated restriction, that route is not open to international applicants who are not already resident in the Kingdom, so this record does not use it for bachelor's-level facts. PSU's own site gives no separate published bachelor's admission path for non-resident international applicants.

Master

• A four-year bachelor's degree from an accredited institution, completed as a full-time student. Bachelor's degrees earned through distance learning or part-time study are not accepted.
