King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals admits international undergraduates on full scholarships: students living outside Saudi Arabia have their tuition fees waived and may receive free on-campus housing, textbooks on loan, a monthly stipend and medical services. KFUPM's 2027 admissions guide sets the SAT admission track, the route open to international applicants, for 1 to 11 February 2027. Graduate scholarships cover all PhD programmes and selected master's programmes, with free tuition, housing, a stipend and air tickets for international students. For 2026 entry, thesis-based master's and PhD applications ran from 20 May to 30 June 2026, and 2027 graduate dates have not been published. Graduate applicants need TOEFL iBT 70, IELTS 6.0 or Duolingo 105 for master's and TOEFL iBT 80, IELTS 6.5 or Duolingo 120 for the PhD, waived for graduates of KFUPM or of universities in the USA, Canada, UK, Australia and New Zealand. Self-paying graduate students pay USD 2,000 in the first semester and USD 135 per credit hour for thesis programmes. Its student body represents 75 countries.
