King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals in Dhahran dates back to 1963, when it was founded by royal decree as the College of Petroleum and Minerals, and its students represent 75 countries. International undergraduates living outside Saudi Arabia have their tuition fees waived and receive a full scholarship. Undergraduate admission for 2027 runs through the SAT track from 1 to 11 February 2027.
