Palacký University Olomouc, founded in 1573, is the second oldest university in Czechia, and its Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry teaches both degrees fully in English. Medicine is EUR 12,500 a year and Dentistry EUR 14,000, among the lowest English-taught medical fees in central Europe, with housing guaranteed for international students. Entrance exams run from January to August, and non-EU applicants are advised to sit one by May.

The 2027 calendar was not published when checked on 13 September 2026. The 2026 cycle is the pattern: applications from 1 November, a deadline two weeks before whichever entrance examination date the applicant picks, examination dates from 6 January to 28 August, and applications closing on 31 July. From mid-August the sessions were for EU citizens and residence permit holders only. Non-EU applicants should aim for an examination by May, because the faculty warns a Czech residence permit can take three months.
