NOVA University Lisbon Application Deadlines 2027

NOVA University Lisbon is a federation of nine schools, and each sets its own fee and calendar. At its School of Science and Technology, which teaches the engineering and science bachelor's degrees, international tuition is EUR 7,000 a year for all nationalities and the first application phase for 2026/27 ran from 1 to 22 April. Bachelor's teaching is in Portuguese and needs B1.

NOVA FCT had not published its 2027/28 phases when checked on 14 September 2026. For 2026/27 the first application phase ran from 1 to 22 April 2026, so an applicant for autumn 2027 should expect an April window and have the Portuguese B1 certificate and the legalised school documents ready before it opens. A candidate may name up to three study cycles a year, and the EUR 70 fee must be paid for the application to be evaluated.
