Admission at a glance
International applicants to Notre Dame University-Louaize apply online through the university's iApply system (sis.ndu.edu.lb/iApply) and pay a 30 USD application fee online or on campus. Undergraduate admission is assessed on a combination of English proficiency (TOEFL, SAT Evidence-Based Reading and Writing, IELTS, or NDU's own English Entrance Test), math proficiency (SAT Math or NDU's Math Aptitude Test), secondary school grades and the application form; applicants who do not submit standardized test scores instead sit the on-campus NDU Entrance Exams. Freshman applicants need a minimum SAT of 870 for Freshman Arts or 950 for Freshman Science, or the equivalent NDU exam, along with an official attestation of completed high school requirements and a certified Freshman Authorization from the Lebanese Ministry of Education and Higher Education. International applicants submit a passport instead of the Lebanese National Identity Card required of Lebanese applicants, plus secondary school grades for the last three years, a passport-size photo, any externally taken standardized test scores, and a certified copy of the Lebanese Baccalaureate Part II or its recognised equivalent. Graduate applicants need a recognised bachelor's degree, a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.7 out of 4.0 or its equivalent, and the Lebanese Baccalaureate Part II or its equivalent; those who are not NDU graduates must also meet the same English proficiency options as undergraduates or sit the English Entrance Test, and MBA or MS in Engineering applicants submit further test scores such as the GMAT or GRE. NDU publishes several admission rounds each cycle, including an Early Admission round and three Regular Admission rounds for the Fall semester, each with its own application deadline, on-campus examination date and decision date.
