Admission at a glance

AUB publishes separate undergraduate and graduate admission calendars. Freshman and sophomore applicants for the Spring term of 2026-27 apply from 1 September to 31 October 2026, with decisions by the end of November. For Fall 2027-28 there is an early merit round from 1 July to 31 October 2026, with decisions by the end of December, and a regular round from 1 November to 20 December 2026, with decisions by the end of March 2027. The SAT is mandatory for undergraduate applicants and cannot be replaced by another exam, and the latest SAT date accepted matches each round. Graduate applications for Spring 2026-27 are open until 5 November 2026, with classes beginning on 13 January 2027, and graduate applications for Fall 2027-28 close on 15 March 2027, with classes starting in August 2027. A graduate application is complete only when the application fee has been paid, but the amount is not published. Graduate applicants need TOEFL iBT 97, IELTS 7.0 or Duolingo 120, while undergraduates are placed in English courses by SAT, AUB-EN, TOEFL or IELTS scores. Need-based aid covers up to 50% of undergraduate tuition and is open to non-Lebanese applicants.
