NSU charges undergraduate tuition at a flat 8,000 taka per credit for every programme, effective Spring 2026, rather than a fixed annual figure, so total cost depends on how many credits a programme requires. On top of tuition: a one-time 25,000 taka admission fee, a refundable 10,000 taka caution money deposit, and a 1,000 taka RFID card fee. Recurring semester charges include computer lab (3,000 taka), student activity (3,000 taka), library (2,000 taka) and science lab (2,500 taka, not charged to Architecture or Pharmacy); Pharmacy and Law run on a bi-semester schedule with some of these fees, such as computer lab and student activity, raised to 4,500 taka. The application fee is 2,000 taka by bank deposit or 2,031 taka through bKash. NSU's refund policy for a withdrawal during a semester gives a full refund through the last business day before classes start, 50 percent through the second and third week of classes, and no refund after three weeks; admission and other assessed fees are never refunded under this policy. Fees are payable at a set list of partner banks: online payment through Southeast Bank, The City Bank (Gulshan branch), United Commercial Bank, ONE Bank, Mutual Trust Bank, National Credit & Commerce Bank, Brac Bank PLC or Eastern Bank PLC, or branch deposit at Dutch-Bangla Bank, Dhaka Bank, Prime Bank, IFIC Bank or Bank Asia (all Bashundhara branch in Dhaka).
