Requirements
National University admits first-year honours students to its affiliated colleges through one national process. For the 2025-2026 session, online applications ran from 23 November to 31 December 2025, and the preliminary application fee of BDT 1,000 was paid to the chosen college by 4 January 2026.
Humanities and business studies applicants need a GPA of at least 2.0 in each of SSC and HSC, with the fourth subject, and 4.5 combined; science applicants need at least 2.25 in SSC, 2.0 in HSC and 4.75 combined. Every applicant sits a one-hour, 100-mark multiple-choice test with a pass mark of 35. Merit is set separately for each college and subject on 200 marks: 100 marks from SSC and HSC GPA, weighted 40 and 60 percent, plus the test score. A student who is admitted pays a registration fee of BDT 1,130.
