National Cheng Kung University Tuition Fees 2027

NCKU's 2025/26 table for foreign and mainland Chinese students charges undergraduates per semester, tuition plus miscellaneous fees: NT$45,071 in the College of Liberal Arts and the College of Social Sciences; NT$45,851 in the College of Management; NT$53,103 in the College of Sciences and the College of Bioscience and Biotechnology; NT$53,583 in Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, and Planning and Design; NT$56,683 in the College of Medicine excluding the departments of Medicine and Dentistry; NT$61,472 in the Department of Dentistry; and NT$71,891 in the Department of Medicine. Two semesters make an academic year. An undergraduate who postpones graduation and takes nine credits or fewer pays credit fees instead at NT$1,530 a credit, and full tuition and fees at ten credits or more; physical education and English-strengthening classes are charged separately at NT$3,060 and NT$1,530. New students also pay a one-off network use fee of NT$1,200 and a language teaching fee of NT$600 in their first semester, NT$1,200 across the year. NCKU notes its own cost guidance uses an exchange rate of roughly NT$30 to the US dollar, and that book and living costs are extra.
